At first glance, the Phantom Black appears to house a simple black dial. But this watch has a secret. Under the right light, the dial reveals a faint, dark blue glow at its centre – a subtle transformation achieved through the fumé enamelling process. This quiet detail adds an element of mystery and refinement, rewarding those who take the time to truly appreciate it.
A Happy Accident
The FH01 Phantom Black stands out for its unusual creation process and the remarkable happy accident that shaped this ethereal timepiece. You’d expect a layered grey enamel to simply darken into shades of grey, yet on a silver base, it reveals an inky blue tint at the centre, adding depth and character. This captivating detail is further enhanced by the subtle fumé effect darkening the edges of the dial to complete black.
Inspired by History
At the core of its understated elegance, the FH01 Phantom Black pays homage to tradition with the distinctive Haukbók numerals. Inspired by the 1310 manuscript "Haukbók" by Icelandic Lawman Haukr Erlendsson, these ancient symbols bridge the past and present. They embody centuries-old craftsmanship, adding a touch of historical charm to the Phantom Black's modern, minimalist design while showcasing the enduring legacy of horological artistry.

While not designated as a limited edition, the FH01 Phantom Black's meticulous craftsmanship inherently limits its availability.
